DungeonCrawler Privacy Policy
Effective Date: June 1, 2026 ยท Last Updated: June 8, 2026
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the DungeonCrawler mobile app and its related features. We value your privacy and aim to minimize data collection.
2. Information We Collect
DungeonCrawler is a single-player game and does not require an account. We collect and process the minimum data needed to run the game, show ads, and measure ad performance.
Data We May Collect Through the App or Ad Partners
- Device information: device model, OS version, language, time zone, and general device settings relevant to ad delivery
- Advertising identifiers: Identifier for Advertisers (IDFA) if you grant tracking permission; otherwise a non-tracking identifier may still be used for limited ad delivery and fraud prevention
- Ad interaction data: ad impressions, clicks, views, and reward completion events
- Approximate location: country or region inferred from IP address for ad targeting and compliance
- Product interaction: basic in-app events related to gameplay sessions and ad placements
Information We Do Not Collect Directly
- Name, phone number, email address, contacts, or other account identity data
- Photos, microphone, camera, or contacts permissions
- Precise GPS location
3. How We Use Information
- To remember your volume, difficulty, tutorial, and gameplay preferences.
- To store local game progress, coins, attribute levels, and best clear times.
- To display third-party ads, including interstitial and rewarded video ads.
- To measure ad performance, prevent fraud, and improve ad relevance where permitted.
- To comply with legal, platform, and advertising partner requirements.
4. Advertising and Tracking
DungeonCrawler uses third-party advertising services to support the free app experience. Our primary ad partner is Vungle (Liftoff Monetize). Ad partners and their downstream demand sources may use cookies, SDKs, device identifiers, and similar technologies to deliver ads, measure performance, and attribute installs.
Types of Ads
- Interstitial ads shown at natural breaks in gameplay
- Rewarded video ads that users may choose to watch for in-game benefits, where available
Tracking Technologies
- IDFA: used for personalized ads and attribution only if you allow tracking through the iOS ATT prompt
- SKAdNetwork: used by Apple and ad partners for privacy-preserving install attribution
- IP address and device signals: used for ad delivery, frequency capping, fraud prevention, and regional compliance
Your Choices
- You can deny tracking when iOS shows the App Tracking Transparency prompt.
- You can change tracking permission later in Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking.
- You can limit ad personalization in Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising.
- If you deny tracking, you may still see ads, but they may be less relevant.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited data with service providers that help us operate the app and deliver ads, including:
- Advertising networks and mediation partners such as Vungle (Liftoff Monetize)
- Ad measurement, attribution, and anti-fraud partners connected through those networks
These partners process data under their own privacy policies and platform rules. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect users, our rights, or the security of the service.
6. Permissions
The app may request the following permissions depending on your device and iOS version:
- App Tracking Transparency: optional permission to use IDFA for cross-app tracking and personalized advertising
- Network access: required to load ads and related ad content
The app does not require camera, microphone, location, or contacts permissions.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
Local gameplay and settings data remain on your device until you uninstall the app, reset the device, or clear app data. Advertising partners may retain ad-related data for limited periods according to their own policies and legal obligations. Because the app does not use accounts, separate account deletion requests are generally unnecessary.
8. Children's Privacy
This app is a game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information that should not have been collected, please contact us through the Support page and we will take appropriate steps.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy if features, advertising partners, compliance requirements, or data handling practices change. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date.
10. Contact Us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy, advertising, tracking, or how the app handles data, please visit the Support page and contact us there.
